With the launch of a new drowning prevention initiative, the Hawaii State Department of Health EMS and Injury Prevention System Branch tasked OrangeRoc with creating a logo to reflect and enhance prevention messaging.
Based on focus group feedback and the need for messaging to have a greater impact for both east- and west-bound tourists, OrangeRoc created a mascot that would become the visual representation to accompany the tagline and for a way to express other safety messages.
